ASPAI 2026 (Conference / Summer School Registration)

26.08.25(Tue)~26.08.28(Fri)

The Asia-Pacific Process Intelligence (APPI) Network is pleased to announce the 2nd Asia-Pacific Symposium on Process and Artificial Intelligence (ASPAI 2026), to be held from August 24 to August 28, 2026, at the POSCO International Center, POSTECH, in Pohang, Republic of Korea. Established in 2025, the APPI Network serves as a dedicated forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address the unique challenges of the Asia-Pacific region—including diverse regulatory environments and varying BPM maturity levels—while leveraging the transformative power of AI and process data. This year’s comprehensive program features an Industry Day in Seoul, a two-day symposium in Pohang with distinguished keynote speakers, and a specialized Process Mining Summer School. We welcome submissions of original research, case studies, industry experience reports, and application-oriented papers in the form of full or short papers. The symposium focuses on four primary themes: 1) Process Intelligence & AI, covering AI/ML and LLM-augmented analytics, predictive monitoring, and explainable AI; 2) Governance, Risk, Ethics & Culture, addressing responsible AI, process compliance in diverse regulatory landscapes, and the influence of national culture on BPM; 3) Digital Transformation & Innovation, exploring intelligent automation, smart workflows, and BPM capability building in developing economies; and 4) Industry & Practice, highlighting real-world success stories, cross-cultural implementation challenges, and process intelligence for sustainability and SDG-oriented governance. We look forward to your contributions and to welcoming you to Pohang for this insightful exchange of ideas.
