On behalf of IBS (Institute of Basic Science) Center for van der Waals Quantum Solids, we are pleased to invite you to IBS VdW Quantum Solids Initiative, Annual Workshop 2025, which will be held from June 15^th to 17^th, 2025. This symposium aims to foster interactions among researchers working on van der Waals materials, explore new collaborations, and strengthen existing partnerships. The workshop will feature presentations by distinguished faculty from various institutes, focusing on key topics such as emerging materials and novel properties, 2D semiconductor device and physics, quantum phenomena in the vdW platform, growth of 2D and structure/property correlations.

We are delighted to host this year’s event at POSTECH in Pohang, Korea, utilizing the new POSTECH-IBS Center (767 Jigok-dong, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea). The agenda includes talks, networking opportunities during breakfast, lunch, and breaks, as well as evening receptions each day.
